The Flower & Gift Shop

Located on Wagga Wagga’s picturesque Fitzmaurice street, (we call it the Parisian end of town!), we've curated a collection of beautiful giftwares for you to peruse and enjoy. We take pains to find unique items that are ethically made and we love to help you find the perfect gift for every occasion. We're so excited to now be offering many of our wares online, and there are yet more gorgeous (and less freight friendly) items to be seen in store.

    What's your favourite season?
    It has to be Spring - after Winter being pretty much the same flowers week in and week out, the sheer variety, the scents, all the wild, dainty, whimsical beauties that come through make me so excited!

    What's your favourite flower? 
    It literally changes every day but foxgloves give me a special kind of warm and fuzzy feeling.

    What's your favorite thing about owning a flower shop?
    I love how varied my job is day to day, I love embracing the seasonal changes, I love the way flowers make people feel, from the smallest gesture through to creating someone's dream bridal bouquet. I love being my own boss too - even though it can be extremely challenging, I look around at the space, all the awesome staff I've had, and our wonderful customers and think 'how cool' - I made this!

    What's your favourite season?
    Autumn (definitely not just because it's my birthday season...)

    What flower would you be? 
    Oh I'm torn between queen annes lace and Buddleja. Not a show stopper but reliable and dreamy!

    What's your favourite thing about working with flowers? 
    Creativity! Every bouquet we make is different and I love working with local seasonal flowers. Also no matter the occasion being even a small part of making someone's day special or easier is something I'll never take for granted.

    Spring because of all the new flowers coming in every week!

    What's your favourite flower? 
    It changes all the time but I still get blown away by the beauty of garden roses but dahlias are pretty special too!

    What do you love about our customers? 
    A perk of being a delivery person is you get to see people's day totally made by the flowers! It's such a treat when someone isnt expecting them and they're blown away!

    Tell us about yourself: 
    I'm a Wagga Wagga born and bred Golden Retriever. My name is Sadie but I also get called Princess, Miss Piggy, Croissant, Angel, Floofbucket, and Snuffaluffagus.

    What's your favourite time of day: 
    Every time a kiddo comes into the shop.

    What do you love about working at Little Triffids Flowers: 
    It's a tough job being a door greeter and making sure I lie down exactly where the humans need to walk, but being with Mum every single day, and all the pats I get makes it worthwhile.
